The plenum/scrubber can is located at the bottom of the unit. The plenum can is 14.5 inches/37cm tall with 5.5 lbs/ 2.5kg radial scrubber inside.
The scrubber is very easy to fill and has a spring-loaded lid that will compensate for settling of the sorb during transport to the dive site. Testing figures for duration suggest over 2 hours at the usual test parameters of temperature and CO2 flow. After filling the scrubber, it is placed in the can and the top half of the unit is pushed down into it. The tube below the cells inserts into the top of the scrubber with an O-ring seal.
The Flex uses radial scrubber with spring loaded compression plate in the lid. Bayonet mechanism locks the lid into place
